A Hefty Borscht

Another wintry dish from the Stonecrop kitchen - this hefty borscht is great when paired with our
pinot noir, this was Florence Fabricant's suggestion (New York Times) this is her recipe. I have made this version and a vegetarian version, both work well with our pinot.

Stonecrop is a small 20 acre sustainable vineyard located in Martinborough, on the renowned Dry River Road. Andrew Harris and Sally Richardson planted their vines in 2003 making careful clone selections and in 2006 produced their first vintage. Only grapes harvested from Stonecrop vineyard are used in the production of our wines, and by using sustainable wine growing practices, keeping yields low and handpicking we are able to produce unique, handcrafted wines of exceptional quality. On this blog we share recipes, pairings and Stonecrop news.
